Additional Notes

When using a metal spatula in a seasoned pan, you’ll scrape away the (unnecessary) bumps in your patina layer. As a result, you get a smooth surface in which you can bake beautifully and well. Bumps of leftover dirt are also easily scraped away, which would not succeed with a plastic spatula. As a final touch, we provided the spatula with rounded corners, so that it follows the shape of the edge of the pan nicely. Perfect!
